Position Summary: This individual will be directly involved with the development, implementation and maintenance of all EHS activities in the manufacturing and warehouse facilities while supporting plant operational goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for development of all EHS training programs.
Responsible for delivery of EHS training at all levels of the operation.
Responsible for EHS Training tracking and ensure compliance with all EHS training requirements to include testing for competency.
Responsible for compliance to water/wastewater compliance activities.
Responsible for Emergency Action and Incident Management to include some Worker Compensation issues.
Responsible for Waste Management to include Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste Stream compliance.
Responsible for all Air Quality initiatives to include record keeping and reporting.
Responsible for all Storm Water protocols to include record keeping and reporting.
Track and record EHS spending (Purchase Orders for PPE, Monitoring equipment, Services, etc.)
Ensure appropriate inventory levels for PPE are maintained and issued where needed.
Conduct Internal EHS Audits and issue Corrective/Preventive Actions for non conformance to EHS Management Systems requirements as needed.
Responsible for Powered Industrial Vehicle regulatory requirement compliance
Effectively communicate EHS issues to appropriate employees and managers.
Responsible for the maintenance of EHS Management Systems requirements to include EHS Records, EHS Documentation and all procedures and work instructions.
