The RMA & Claims Coordinator is responsible for handling all material return requests when customers need to return extra or unused material. The position is also responsible for handling all claims for lost or damaged product.
Responsibilities and Duties
Work with various departments to arrange the return of material and that it is routed correctly.
Provide a positive customer service experience by facilitating the customer’s return
Process the customer’s return while working with all necessary approvers to ensure the return request is flowing through the approval chain.
Working with the logistics department to make sure that good material is returned to stock while bad material is properly disposed of.
Understanding of COGS and how their value is recouped by filing claims against responsible third party vendors.
Doing a thorough investigation to determine the condition of material and facilitating the replacement claim to make sure the customer receives all material they need.
Following up on open claims to ensure that Nichiha is being repaid for lost or damaged goods
Qualifications and Skills
Ability to Multi-task
Strong communication skills
Minimum of Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
2 years logistics experience (preferred)
2 years in warehouse/inventory management (preferred)
2 years in customer facing/support role (preferred)
